The director did not get the movie, but Jeri Ryan has already secured as Sonya Blade in the series. Now, Warner confirms Michael Jai White back in the role of Jax, and the relatively unknown Darren Shahlavi as Kano. Shahlavi figured as a Persian in 300 and as a member of SWAT in Watchmen. His biggest role was highlighted as the villain Twister boxer in Ip Man 2. At least, it is guaranteed that he knows how to fight.
The first season of nine episodes, will air on April 19th, same time of the launch of the new game.
For some strange reason, I want to see this.
ReplyDeleteFilms made from games rarely seem to be any good, I wonder if the same will apply to a TV series.
