New names confirmed in Mortal Kombat: Rebirth

While the new game of Mortal Kombat is not released, Warner continues to confirm more names to the web-series Mortal Kombat: Rebirth. The reinvention of MK began with a video test, which the director wanted to show that Warner was possible to make a new movie in style.

The director did not get the movie, but Jeri Ryan has already secured as Sonya Blade in the series. Now, Warner confirms Michael Jai White back in the role of Jax, and the relatively unknown Darren Shahlavi as Kano. Shahlavi figured as a Persian in 300 and as a member of SWAT in Watchmen. His biggest role was highlighted as the villain Twister boxer in Ip Man 2. At least, it is guaranteed that he knows how to fight.

Filming has already started in Vancouver. Missing only the names of Sub-Zero and Scorpion. It is likely that the same actor who did the undead back in Rebirth.
The first season of nine episodes, will air on April 19th, same time of the launch of the new game.

Batman: Arkham City and Avatar: The Last Airbender will win comics!

One well-known (and it always works), is to close the gap, the gulf between the two stories through comics.
Batman: Arkham City will be little more than a year after the events of Arkham Asylum. Responsibility of Paul Dini (one of the minds behind the animated series from DC, especially that of Batman himself, besides participating in the itinerary of Arkham Asylum and City), the miniseries will be released in six editions worldwide, with the price of USD $ 2, 99.
The focus is on how the greatest villains of Batman adapted to Arkham City, after the closing of Arkham Asylum. The image illustrates that the news is the first concept art of comics.

Already a continuation of mega hit animation, Avatar: The Last Airbender (here known as The Last

Airbender) will happen 100 years after the end of the story of Aang. The new design will follow the story of Korra, as is taught by the son of Aang.

But for the fans to not be surprised, not having the beloved old characters, Nickelodeon announced that the co-creator Michael DiMartino oversee "Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Lost Adventures." Will be 26 new stories about Aang, Katara, Sokka and Toph rebuilding the war-torn world. Best of the comic will be released as a graphic novel! Will be 240 pages. As of May, begin the postings around the world.

Nick Fury Will Be In Thor And Captain America, And Has A Female Avengers Sidekick

As The Avengers prepares to start shooting in April and hitting theaters next summer, all of the pieces of the Marvel Universe are starting to link up, and the common denominator for all of them is Nick Fury. The S.H.I.E.L.D. agent had a major role in Iron Man 2 as he tried to recruit Tony Stark for his league of superheroes, and now Samuel L. Jackson has confirmed that Fury will be performing a similar duty in both Thor and Captain America, the pre-Avengers films set to hit this summer.

Talking to Jimmy Fallon-- who basically got the kind of scoop we movie bloggers dream of constantly-- Jackson said he has yet to film his scenes for Thor and Captain America, and he has no idea if they'll be part of the film or after the credits, but that he'll appear in both films. He also dropped a little bit of information about The Avengers, namely that he'll have a female sidekick in the film. He'll be screen-testing alongside five contenders for the role this week, and describes the part as "a new character that's with me all the time." The "new character" bit suggests it's not Wasp, the female superhero frequently rumored to be part of the film.

So who will the character be? Will she have powers or just be kind of an overblown secretary? Speculate away in the comments.

Learn how to be a real tought guy like this nepalese soldier!

Oh, the Nepal. Beyond of having the only not rectangular flag in the whole planet the country now will be famous for creating the most tough citzen of all times. Bishnu Shrestha, a soldier of 35 year, faced 40 criminals that were mugging his train with just one knife. Was THE knife, but we continue being his fans, Shrestha

This is the scenario: Shrestha was in the train reading his regular paper, when 40 criminals invaded the transporte, screaming , jumping and stealing jewelry, money and cellphones. All of this with fire weapons, knifes and swords - YES, you heard me SWORDS. Meanwhile, Shrestha continued quiet, making his tough guy face. But when the criminals started taking off a girl cloths wich was right beside our hero and wanted to rape her in front of her parents, the action started.

Shrestha drew a Kukri, knife with saws tipical of the Nepal and may have until 38 centimeters, and started to fight on berserk mode against the criminals. Knifes latter this is the final count:

Dead Criminals: 3
Injured Criminals: 8
Runaway Criminals: 29
Bishnu Shrestha: heavy injury in the left hand

Thats it, bros. The soldier of 35 years, proved that you can't mess with the Nepal. He won a honor prize for his guts. And we stayed with the waiting of the cinematographic version of the fight - or at least the intern circuit of cameras. This history deserves to be immortalized.
